Gina Puleo M.D.
Dr. Puleo grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, and is excited to return home to care for the women of middle TN. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from High Point University before receiving her medical degree from East Tennessee State University. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee in Nashville.
Throughout her training, Dr. Puleo demonstrated a commitment to both leadership and compassionate patient care. She served as Class President during medical school and Chief Resident during residency, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Upon graduation from residency, she received the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Award for Excellence in Obstetrics.
Dr. Puleo is passionate about partnering with patients to provide compassionate, individualized care throughout every stage of life. Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for which she is certified in da Vinci robotic surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Puleo enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time at home with her husband and two cats.
